Job: PROPANE GAS SALES / ROUTE DRIVER
Location: Saskatoon, SK Canada
Mobile Propane Services Inc. is seeking qualified applicants for the fulltime position of PROPANE GAS SALES / ROUTE DRIVER at our Saskatoon, Sk. Branch. Mobile Propane is a locally owned Family business serving Saskatchewan since 1978.
Our Gas Sales/Route Drivers are responsible for the safe, timely delivery of propane/ propane cylinders to customers on existing routes. This is a great position for someone who has prior delivery experience or experience with route sales and would enjoy driving locally in Saskatoon and area, and who is willing to do multiple job descriptions if needed.
The position requires strong sales and customer service skills, regular interaction with customers, some collections, occasional on-call duty, and being a contributing member of team work environment. Driving and delivering in all-weather conditions is routine. A strong commitment to safety, consistent with company policy, is a must. Requirements
GAS SALES/ROUTE DRIVER
- High School Diploma or GED
- Pass background, credit, and drug screen if asked;
- Clean drivers abstract
- Valid Class 3A or greater
- Valid Gas fitter license with knowledge of Code B149 (not required but welcomed)
- Able to lift 100lbs. min., also physical fit.
- Must be able report and take direction from the Operations Manager
Skills needed
- Prior Propane, route delivery, or mechanical experience strongly considered (however not required)
- Enjoy customer service/route delivery work
- Prior handheld computer experience helpful
- Possess mechanical, piping, propane or other related skills helpful
- Ability to consistently contribute within a team environment
- Knowledge of Saskatoon, SK and surrounding areas required
